Programme

SCOIX (Mindstrike Records, Impersonal Strikes) Project conceived by Sara and Jorge, directors of the Mindstrike label, as an experiment in reflecting emotions through sound. They combine the sound of hardware and real time synthesis with the flexibility of software as a performance element. Noisy, chaotic influences intermingled with extreme frequencies and oppressive atmospheres along with marked and varied rhythms. They are currently working on an album which will be released shortly.

Dario Moratilla (Guadalajara, 1974) is a musician, sound editor and radio DJ. A prominent representative of the new generation of Spanish electronic musicians, his work is based on the creation and manipulation of digital audio, the decontextualising of diverse field recordings and the possibilities of error and randomness. His work has been presented at different events in Madrid, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Taiwan, Lucca, etc.

Ernesto Romeo (Klauss), with the participation of Lucas Romeo. Ernesto Romeo is one of the principal exponents of avant-garde electronic music in Argentina with notable resonance in Paris, New York and Madrid. Along with Alejandro Vázquez, he is part of the Klauss duo, which is characterised by the intensive use of analogue and digital electronic equipment. On this occasion, he will be discussing his relationship with musical composition and performance using analogue electronic means and the relationship between a virtual synthesiser and the hardware that inspired it. The presentation concludes with a brief concert with the participation of his brother Lucas Romeo, also a composer. The two will demonstrate the potential of some very representative analogue synthesisers like the ARP 2600, EMS VCS3 and Shynthi AKS, Roland TR909, Korg MS50, Sequential Pro One, Roland TB303 and Korg Mono/Poly.

And during intermission....

Dirtymoustah. The visual artist dedicated to graffiti and photography, Daniel Martín will present his facet as an experimental disc jockey. His project Dirtymoustah consists of on set experimentation using materials such as cardboard and plastic instead of vinyl.
