Programme

Susana Noguero (platoniq.net) will present /Burn Station, a /self-service/ offering of net label music and net radio programs, which aims to show and inform people about free audio licenses, formats, and collective networks.

Christian Galarreta Pando (Peru) is a digital artist, composer, and performer of contemporary music. He develops noise aesthetics in his work, using techniques such as taking advantage of errors in devices and software, homemade sound instruments, or programming generative tools for live sound processing. He will show us his projects and speak about his composition methods.

CTRLer is the project of the musician, guitarist, and producer named J., begun after over ten years of working with several rock, punk, and metal bands, and mainly following his experience with Jennifer in Latex, one of Spain’s major industrial rock bands. His music is based on a complex sound based on distortion, accelerated rhythms, powerful breaks, and musical experimentation.
Kambamar (“crossing the sea”) is a music trio whose percussive sound explores the roots and fusion of Ngumbe, an ethnic folk musical style from Guinea-Bissau. In addition to an acoustic guitar and a yembé, the group uses an instrument called Tina: a gourd in a bowl of water. The group will tell us about their musical culture and the influences they have incorporated since coming to Spain. They will give a presentation accompanied by visuals provided by a guest VJ.
