Programme

Samba Da Rua defines itself as a "social action band" open to everyone, regardless of their musical knowledge, age, or commitment. Our organizational model is completely horizontal. Musically, it has a batucada section like any samba school in Brazil, but the group aims to go further, with a fusion of different musical styles, growing with experience and their eagerness to take on new challenges.

Samba da Rua

Estudio livre (Brazil) is a collaborative project that is constantly developing for the purpose of creating spaces for physical and virtual interaction that stimulate and facilitate the production and distribution of free culture.

Caen Botto (Argentina) is a multimedia artist who will give an audio-visual performance using a system that captures movement in real time.

Caen Botto

Proyecto Mirage (Mindstrike / Hands, Spain). Created in 1990 by Alicia H. Willen and Francisco Planellas, at first, they were close to the sound of the electro-pop bands of that time. Their sound could be defined as a mix of industrial, hard electronic, drum ‘n’ bass, techno, electro, rock, and a touch of experimentation. With quite a lot of experience behind them, Proyecto Mirage is one of the Spain's major electronic bands in recent years. They have toured half the world, heading the roster at the most prestigious festivals: Maschinenfest, Forms Of Hands, Wave Gotik Treffen, Decibelio, Noxious, Resistance.

Proyecto Mirage

Kazemzadeh is a Professor of Electronic Media Arts at the University of North Texas School of Visual Arts.
