Programme

Druhb. Hidden under the enigmatic Druhb moniker is one of the many projects of Jaime Munárriz and Javier Piñango, who were also founding members of the mid-90s band Destroy Mercedes, and artists with a long career in the fields of electonic music and experimental rock. Druhb combines digital and analogic elements, fractured micro-rhythms and minimalist melodic sketches, cerebral electronics and ambient layers.

AZ-Rotator Musical producer Uge Ortiz has his roots in the mid-80s Spanish hardcore punk scene. His current musical production informs a mosaic consisting of fractal beats, beatiful harmonic lines, and sudden breaks - a material already released on different labels, such as AD Noisean (Germany), Error Deluxe (Spain), and Digital Enemy (Brazil). Recently, he was one of the most notable participants in the Club Transmediale festival in Berlinl. He will present a showcase of his new compositions.

Alberto C. Bernal His production is located between disconcerting traditional settings and other environments, such as installations, performance, or visual arts. In the wake of his latest composition, through the wall - which will be presented in the Reina Sofía Museum, Madrid, on the 16th of April - he will talk about “music, reality, and new media”.

Dead Capo make high-risk experimental music which is hard to classify. It is a result of a mash-up of styles such as jazz, funk, swing, rock, psychobilly or film scores, with a large dose of humor. Dead Capo will share with us their musical production process, their wide musical background which allows for open collaboration, and the management strategy of their label, Pueblo Records.
