Presentation of the work group #bookcamping, literature, free culture and publishing (dis)organisation. An opening encounter with Joaquín Rodríguez, co-author of the book El Paradigma Digital (Trama, 2011) will take place.

5 pm - 6 pm. Presentation of  the group and work plan of the workshop. Aside from each other, we will present the road map of the workshop, the session calendar, and some basic tools. We will also share the general and methodological framework of the workshop.

6 pm - 7 pm. An afternoon with Joaquín Rodríguez. Previous to the presentation of his most recent book El Paradigma Digital (Trama, 2011), Joaquín debats within the the group an excerpt* that seems fundamental and fairly basic in order to understand its implications. In this session, we will emphasise the issue of communities as a central issue in the publishing paradigm shift. With his help, we will try to provide answers and to pose further questions more or less defined by the questions: "Where is the current publishing model headed at? What is a 'book' nowadays? What is the future/present of reading and its support media? A few starters to positions us within the workshop.
