Abstract:
40th anniversary of CUADRATS, firs videoart generated in Europe by Sarrey in1968 at the Centro de Cálculo of the Complutense University of Madrid. It was recorded by TVE, thanks to the collaboration of Enrique Martí Maqueda and Figuerola Ferretti. Sarrey collaborated as a programmer in that center during the first years of the Automatic Generation of Plastic Shapes Seminar, working with IBM computers.
