Reunión mensual de DrupalMad, una comunidad de desarrolladores de Drupal en Madrid. Drupal es un sistema de gestión desarrollado en código abierto por una comunidad activa de usuarios en todo el mundo.
ATENCIÓN: Por motivos ajenos a la organización, la reunión de DrupalMad de diciembre ha tenido que ser cancelada. En breve se anunciarán las fechas de las reuniones del primer trimestre de 2010. Lamentamos las molestias.

DrupalMad representa a la comunidad de desarrolladores y usuarios en torno a Drupal en Madrid, tanto profesionales como aficionados. Su objetivo es el de promover y mejorar Drupal en Madrid y, por extensión, en España, a través de acciones de divulgación y desarrollo.
Su primera actividad es la organización de reuniones con carácter mensual para dinamizar la comunidad y promover el uso, conocimiento y mejoras de Drupal.
Salvo que se indique lo contrario, el horario de las reuniones será de 18:00h a 20:00h el segundo martes de cada mes. En diciembre 2009 la reunión tendrá lugar el día 1, por ser el 8 día festivo.

En general, las reuniones consistirán en:
· Presentación de caras nuevas.
· Presentación monográfica por parte de algún miembro de la comunidad. Esta tiene dos objetivos: divulgar el conocimiento adquirido por los miembros de la comunidad drupalera y centrar las discusiones posteriores alrededor de un tema común (aunque esto no es obligatorio). También puede tratarse de una exposición de problemas o retos encontrados para su tratamiento conjunto.
· Charlas, trabajo conjunto, networking... La intención es disponer del espacio, tiempo y medios para interactuar entre los participantes, bien tratando y discutiendo temas acerca de Drupal o tecnologías afines, poniéndonos al día, estableciendo nuevos contactos. erán especialmente interesantes, por sus resultados tangibles, las sesiones de trabajo en grupo.
¿Qué es Drupal?
Se trata de un sistema de gestión de contenido modular y muy configurable.
Es un programa de código abierto, con licencia GNU/GPL, escrito en PHP, desarrollado y mantenido por una activa comunidad de usuarios. Destaca por la cálidad de su código y de las páginas generadas, el respeto de los estándares de la web, y un énfasis especial en la usabilidad y consistencia.
