Everyone needs a home... even the homeless.
Hence HOME SWEET HOME, a design + communication initiative with two goals:
• provide some homeless people with DIY cardboard "houses" made from cardboard boxes which can be found in any dumpster
• use these temporary shelters as billboards to publicize a simple truth: NO ONE should live in a cardboard box.
The final ambition - dream? - of HOME SWEET HOME is to provide relief beyond a few cardboard houses. Thus, the communication campaign will include a call to action, with concrete suggestions of what we can all do to help.
Anyone wanting to help the homeless faces the same dilemma: You can't save the world by yourself. Where do you start? Where do you end? Do you start at all?
