What is VisorODF?
This project is not just about the design and development of a text documents, spreadsheets and presentations viewer in ODF format (Open Document Format), but also about testing it in real environments. The main goal is to create a viewer that could be used, improved and distributed by communities, manufacturers and entities, as well as by final users. The projects aims to be a work-in-progress work and to find different difussion and promotion channels. (Source: VisorODF - CENATIC)
The ODF is a free and open format for the creation of text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. With this format developers can create applications that work in a common format, avoiding problems such as having to use converters to be able to work with the same information in different programs, among others. There will also be a practical session where participants will test their knowledge in this matter. The session will last for about 5 hours (1 hour for lunch).
A lecture about Android by University Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) will also take place.
