12 noon: Basics of programming with Processing by Chris Sugrue. This session will help beginners get started with working in the Processing environment. It will cover the essentials: data types, variables, iteration, conditionals and simple drawing. We will conclude by programming a siteswap validator.
4:00 pm: Siteswap software. Daniel Sánchez will demo some of the software that exists for jugglers, how they can be used, and what they can tell us about juggling.
4:30 pm: Computer vision experiments with table juggling. Chris will introduce the them of computer vision and demonstrate software that can track juggling balls based on color. Students will then make small experiments in Processing coding different visuals from the data.
