The Night of the Researchers
Place: Medialab-Prado y Plaza de las Letras, C/ Alameda, 15 · Madrid
The main goal of The Night of the Researchers is to bring researchers closer to the citizens in order to show their work, its benefits for the society and its repercussion in everyday life. This activity is part of a program where citizens and researchers are both essential.
Medialab-Prado offers the following activities: Por qué soy científico (Why Am I a Researcher, 6 pm), Entrega de premios del concurso de micro vídeos (Micro videos Awards Ceremony, 7:30 pm) and La esquina europea: ser un científico en Europa, 27 experiencias (The European Corner: Being a Scientist in Europe, 27 Experiences, 8 pm).

What is The Night of the Researchers?
The Night of the Researchers is an action organized by Fundación madri+d para el Conocimiento witin the framework of the PEOPLE Programme of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union that takes place in different European cities during the same night, since 2005.
During this night in Madrid, 18 activities in 13 venues will take place between 6 pm and midnight.
