Strategic Plan of Culture of the Madrid City Council 2012 - 2015 (PECAM)
The Arts Department of the Madrid City Council has initiated the process to write the Strategic Plan of Culture of the Madrid City Council 2012 - 2015 (Plan Estratégico de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Madrid 2012 – 2015 [PECAM]), a tool aimed to analyze and study the local cultural policies and identify their most pre-eminent actions in the medium and long term.
PECAM is a project with a participatory vocation to reach a consensum, open to citizen involvement.

The goals are to foster collective reflection about how the future culture of Madrid should be in order to stablish priorities in cultural policy matters for the upcoming years, considering the new socioeconomic context, as well as to scan the current cultural landscape and take advantage of the new opportunities that arise.
