Workshop on how to incorporate Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) into the work of NGDOs (non-governmental development organizations). Following the first meeting of #redflexion: From Technological Change to Social Change, the debate is now centred on the use of ICT in cooperation projects. Experiences will be shared about using ICT in education, health, rural development, governance and productive activities. Our aim is to discuss new ways to solve old problems.
ICT is increasingly present in our everyday lives and, as we saw in the previous #redflexion, it is being used more and more for participation and mobilization. Its use is also growing in cooperation interventions for development, but we are only at the beginning. ICT opens up innovative possibilities in all development sectors and there is a growing need to explore them in imaginative but realistic ways, especially in the current context of change in the development sector.
