Workshop II · PlayLab: Laboratory of Experimentation with Video Games

Second part of the Playlab: Laboratory of Experimentation with Video Games, where eight selected projects will be developed. These projects aimed to explore the context of the game and the video game as a space for collaborative work and confluence of disciplines.

Tutors: Mar Canet, Antonin Fourneau, and Abelardo Gil-Fournier. Directed by Flavio Escribano.

The Mexican Standoff

The Mexican Standoff project, by Onur Sonmez and Tim Devine (Austria)

 

Selected proposals experiment with tangible interfaces, real objects as elements of the virtual game, table games with augmented reality, interactive sound spaces, viral games, etc.

The workshop is divided in two parts: January 21 through 24 and February 4 through 7, 2010.

Work teams will finish the creation of the prototipes during this second part of the workshop (February 4 through 7).
