In this meeting, we aim to put into practice the concepts we have been using the last few months at the Laboratorio del Procomún Estético (Aesthetic Commons Laboratory). In other words, repertoires, placements and landscape will come into play, specifically in three areas: architecture, Parkour and dance, which differ materially, physically and in terms of mobility and yet, are spatially interrelated.
We will also explore in depth the significance of audiovisual media in the process of instituting those repertoires and in building a commons. In Parkour, for example, the way video and various body movements are interwoven is a fundamental factor in instituting a still incipient repertoire that is growing fast, thanks to its distribution on the Web, which provides the structure of a community that has expanded to cities all over the world. In Aumented Stage III we explore stage devices to act, play, dance or juggle. We will show tools that improve the formal and expressive possibilities of actors (Demodrama-faces by Enrique Esteban García, Patricia Esteban García, and Ismael García Abad), systems to reconstruct images of our memory using movement (Game in Dance, by Jorge Cano), and a sequencer activated by juggling balls that allows us to try an unlimited number of orbital patterns (Colors by Daniel Sánchez). Multidisciplinary meeting within the framework of Helloworld! Stage Creation and New Technologies, where three stage creators will dismantle the limits of the theater physical space: Guillermo Casado and his Proyecciones adaptables, an opensource software that allows us to interact with a virtual stage, build it and shape it during the performance. Cristina Blanco, Madrilian performer, walks on the line of space and science with Ciencia-Ficción, ready to even make atoms dance. Or the work of the playwriter Roger Bernat (Hacer cosas con personas) where borders of the theatical system disappear, turning the audience into the main character of the show. [live streaming]
Session presented by David Rodríguez, coordinator of Helloworld! Platform.
All music is based on a certain order, as pure randomness and basic spontaneity do not exist. All music is based on mathematics, hence the title of this sort of "old style" AVLAB Meeting, with the participation of Olaya Hernando, Roberto Catalá, and Oscar Martín. Directed and presented by José Manuel Costa. [live streaming]
