Carmen Arteaga
Legal director of the Instituto Nacional de Derechos de Autor since 2001 and Professor at the Law School at UNAM (“Intellectual Property”, “Industrial Property: patents, utility models, industrial designs, and trade secrets” and “Copyright”, among other subjects). A graduate in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Mexico, a specialist in Industrial Property and Copyright. Has 17 years’ experience in the public sector in the Procuraduría Fiscal de la Federación, the Dirección General de Desarrollo Tecnológico and the Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Intelectual (IMPI).
