Medialab Prado

Chris Sugrue is an American artist and programmer whose software – driven art works include interactive installations,  live audio-visual performance, and algorithmic animation. She experiments with the often magical or illusionary possibilities of technology to breathe life into fictional worlds and  allow them to bleed into reality. Chris holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design in New York City, and has held artist residencies with Eyebeam, Hangar, and La Casa de Velazquez.
