Daniel González Xavier

Cultural producer and independent curator specializing in music, sound art, and audiovisual projects. He holds a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad FAAP de São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

He created the Brazilian nucleus, TEMP, that became extinct in 2007, and engages in cyber-activism, urban interventions, and underground electronic music.

He was the curator for the Hipersonica- FILE Festival (International Festival of Electronic Language in 2005 and 2006, and for the Territorio de Antiespetaculo exhibit (Muestra SESC de Artes - Latinidades) in 2003.

He has collaborated with: White Night (Madrid), Showskills (Manchester), Sonar-Sound (São Paulo), Festival Decibelio (Madrid) Casa de Velazquez (Madrid), Video-Brasil (São Paulo), Bom Festival (Portugal) and the Fundación Arte Viva Europa (Madrid).

At Medialab-Prado, he has been a cultural mediator at various activities from 2005 to 2007. At present he is the coordinator and a presenter at the Encuentros AVLAB.
