Medialab Prado

(Madrid, 1975) He holds a degree in biology and is currently studying for a doctoral degree in Agroecology, Sociology and Sustainable Rural Development at the University of Córdoba. In connection with this doctoral thesis he is carrying out a participative stimulation of agriculture in Morata de Tajuña (Madrid).

His professional experience spans the fields of environmental education and training in the fields of agricultural and rural development. He also worked for five years as the founder and farmer with the initiative, Bajo el Asfalto está la Huerta.

He has participated in student movements as well as squatter and ecology movements. He is a regular contributor to the publications Archipiélago and La Fertilidad de la Tierra and the newspaper, Diagonal. He has coordinated the books, “Colectividades y Okupación Rural” (Traficantes de Sueños, 2000) and “Los pies en la tierra. Experiencias y reflexiones hacia un movimiento agroecológico” (Virus, 2006), and is the co-author of the text, “Con la comida no se juega. Alternativas autogestionarias a la globalización capitalista desde la agroecología y el consumo (Traficantes de Sueños, 2003).
