Art historian, exhibit curator, writer, and historian. His most recent projects as researcher and curator are: Barroco e Hispanidad (2004-2009), Hempreslaradio.net (2006-07), Tour-ismos (2004), Indivisuals (2003), En el lado de la TV (2002), and El corazón de las tinieblas (2002). Books he has had published recently are: Fotografía y activismo social (Gustavo Gili, 2006), Me, Mycell and I. Tecnología, movilidad y vida social (Fundació Tàpies, 2003) and Planeta Kurtz (Mondadori, 2002). He writes regularly for national and international media about art, culture, and society. He has been, and continues to be, an editor of several on-line projects. He teaches or has taught at various institutions here and abroad (UPF-Elisava, IDEP, ETSAB-UPC, EINA, Colombia, and Canada). In 2007 he was awarded the Premio Espais de la Crítica for his work Modern Art and the Franco Period: The Conservative Origins of the Avant-garde and Art Policy in Spain, to be published soon.
