Medialab Prado

Lamusediffuse (www.lamusediffuse.com) is a team of collaborative projects that explores the forms, the impact and the possibilities of electronic technologies in contemporary culture. We started out as a non-profit research group of Fulbright scholars from different parts of the world that shared a common interest in enhancing people's lives by improving their access to digital technologies and their creations. Nowadays, other collaborators are joining us, meaning that our capacity and scope are improving. The team is currently formed by the following members:

We are interested in the possibilities of the social web for the dissemination of culture and understanding between different parts of the world. We believe that social software has an immense potential in making culture accessible both in and on organisations that are small or removed from the dominant social currents, developing countries and areas in conflict. For this reason, we are committed to setting up initiatives that can contribute to providing greater visibility to these cultural fields.
