Lucina Jiménez

Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana- Iztapalapa. Doctoral candidate in the same area. Former General Director of the Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico. Created under her management were: Centros de Arte in Guanajuato, Veracruz, Mexicali and Oaxaca; Programa de Educación Artística a Distancia, via Canal 23 on Edusat; the Línea de Educación Artística in the Master’s degree in educational development, in the Virtual Post-Graduate Program on Cultural Policy and Cultural Management, for which she designed the study plan and was General Academic Coordinator, of the Programa Internacional de Formación en Artes del Circo y de la Calle, as well as the design and creation of the Red Virtual de las Artes Escénicas. Mexico.

At present she is part of the International Consulting Group, Cultura&Gestión, specializing in cultural policies, artistic education and developing audiences, with projects in Spain, Colombia and Mexico. Member of the Consejo Asesor del Informe sobre Cultura and Sostenibilidad de Iberoamérica, OEI (Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos) and the Fundación Interarts of Barcelona, Spain and the Cátedra UNESCO at the Universidad de Girona.
