Mar Cabra is a multimedia investigative reporter from Spain, member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and vice-president of the Spanish chapter of the Open Knowledge Foundation. Her award-winning work has revealed the misuse of EU fishing subsidies, overfishing in the South Pacific, exposed the lucrative trade of body parts and the overmedication of foster children in the US. She was a Fulbright Scholar and Stabile Fellow at the Columbia University Journalism School. Her work has been published in The International Herald Tribune, Le Monde, El País, BBC and PBS, among other media. Mar teaches data journalism in two master degrees and coordinates the data journalism working group at Medialab Prado in Madrid. She recently received the Spanish Larra Award to the country's most promising journalist under 30.
