MemoryFrames was born out of the same randomness and daily humdrum with which we generate our memories. It is the result of the work done in the final project of a Master in Digital Arts at Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, 2006), which carries the same name.

When Silvia Carli, who holds a degree in Communication Sciences and has a great interest in video experimentation and visual effects.

Andrea Wolf, a journalist with a degree in Communications, a Master in Documentaries and a strong interest in working with ways of representing reality and formal and content experimentation in video.

Both of whom are firm cinema enthusiasts, discovered the potential of the new technologies and the Internet, they decided to dedicate themselves to a project – which is still ongoing – involving interactive video, in which they would be able to work on the issue of memory and the visual representation thereof. Their interest in fiction is combined with their interest in working with archive material (home videos) in a new formal exploration for an issue that is recurrent in the work of both.
