(Madrid, 1971) A freelance journalist and writer, he specialises in the investigation and analysis of health and ecology issues to shed light on the dark interests of the powerful. He is the author of the books, Health Traffickers: How they sell us dangerous drugs and play with disease, (Icaria Editorial, 2007), and Toxic Conspiracies: How business groups jeopardise our health and the environment.
He is a contributor to Discovery DSalud, La Clave, EcoHabitar, The Ecologist, Integral, Playboy, Tiempo and Interviú. His work has also been published in the A Tu Salud health supplement of La Razón, CuerpoMente, Archipiélago, Diagonal and Libre Pensamiento.
His research was the basis for the documentary entitled Toxic Load broadcast by Televisión Española (TVE), which looks at the adverse health effects of the more than 100,000 hazardous chemical substances in the environment. He started out working for the now extinct publication, Motivos de Actualidad, and as the co-founder of the Contrastes S.L. publishing company. He is an author and collaborator on various monographic works for the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE).
