Paloma Blanco has a PhD in Contemporary Art with a thesis entitled “Public Art? Towards an attempt to redefine some practices considered political”.
She has taken part along with Jordi Claramonte, Jesús Carrillo, and Marcelo Expósito in the book project "Ways of doing. Critical art, public sphere and direct action" (Modos de hacer. Arte crítico, esfera pública y acción directa) edited by Salamanca University in January 2001.
She has curated the exhibition "No one is illegal" (“Ninguna Persona es Ilegal”) as part of the contest "Unprecedented. Three exhibition projects of emergent art (“Inéditos. Tres proyectos expositivos de arte emergente”) organized by Obra Social Caja Madrid from July 11 to September 8, 2002.
She was a member of the jury of the Madrid Abierto Contest 2004. Artistic Interventions, Februrary 2004.
