Medialab Prado

Urbanohumano is a project that was created in the year 2004 by the cyber architect Domenico Di Siena.

It started off as an end-of-degree project for the Faculty of Architecture at “La Sapienza” University in Rome and continued to develop in Madrid, in association with his studies in the Doctorate in Urban Planning at Universidad Politécnica. Urbanohumano is currently working on research projects carried out on a joint basis with the groups Meipi, Algomas, Laboratorio Urbano, Basurama and the architecture studio [ecosistema urbano]. The objective is research and development in innovative tools that can be used in urban participation processes. These experiences are intended as a background for promoting citizen participation, in terms of structure and transparency, and heightening the awareness of the political class and citizens at large as to the importance of living the city on a collective basis.
