Medialab Prado

Vicente J. Ruiz Jurado is a Computer Engineer and participates in various initiatives related mainly to ecology and the Commons Movement. In the latter, he works on the dissemination, organization and development of infrastructures. In 2002, he started ourproject.org, a collaborative work space designed to host free projects on any subject, especially social projects, with the aim of sharing all types of knowledge and resources associated with free licences.

As a result of this experience, he is currently developing Kune, new free software that aims to provide the general public with a much simpler way of meeting those objectives. Kune enables the creation of large collective web spaces that can be inhabited and adapted by any person and/or group, facilitating collaboration, intercommunication and the simple management of their web spaces, while also fostering Free Culture.
